Contemporary wheel thrown stoneware. The exterior is glazed in Tuktuk blue and matt stone white. Interior is glazed in a glossy shino type that highlights the flecks wedged into the clay body.
The spout has a strainer for large leaf teas and the base is deeply bevelled to enable one to tuck a tea cosy underneath in the winter months.
This is a second, due to a small amount of glaze crawling on the shoulder of the teapot next to the top of the handle.
